So I was reading a friend's blog this morning and it made me wonder if anyone actually reads mine! I know 1 friend checks in from time to time (thanks Meg!). If anyone else cares enough to check in, please drop me a line or leave a little comment and say hello! Maybe it will inspire me to update more frequently!
Things at the new house have really been coming along! Thank goodness for my dear sweet daddy and good friends, because without them we wouldn't have anything done! Ben has been going there to work most days when he gets home from work. Bless his heart, I don't know how he gets up every morning! So far all the demolition and framing has been done, AND we have all the floors redone and leveled. No hardwood yet-just subfloor, but it looks so much better!! The guy have also finished scraping all the popcorn off the ceilings! Things are really looking good! I'll post some pictures when I don't have a baby sleeping in my lap!
Speaking of that sweet baby, she is FINALLY baptized!! Ben and I have been searching for a church home where we both feel comfortable, and after finally finding one, our little girl was baptized this past weekend. I cannot tell you the relief I feel!! We feel so welcome there and are looking forward to joining as a family soon! After the baptism we had friends and family back to the house for lunch and a nice little party. It was fun and of course stressed me out beyond belief! :) Needless to say, everything turned out fine and most importantly, my sweet girl is baptized!
She is so big now I'm already sad when I see people with itty bitty babies!! She is constantly on the move and can stand for about 5 seconds without holding onto anything! She laughs ALL THE TIME, claps her hands, can give a high 5, and already has 4 beautiful teeth!! Ahhh...I just adore her! Here are a few recent pictures! Please remember to comment if you read this!
