It's actually comical how terrible I am at keeping this thing up to date!! All this time I have thought I have nothing to do...maybe I'm busier than I thought! My apologies to those who actually check in to see what's going on with us! Yes, we are all still here!

A few updates:
We bought a new house! Well...not a NEW house-it was built in 1870. VERY cool! It's back in Lexington with my heart on my old stomping grounds! It's an old farm house that was built by a civil war soldier and just happened to be on high enough ground that it remained when Lake Murray came about! The results-a beautiful view on a small peninsula on Lake Murray!! We are SOOOO excited! There is so much work to be done, but Ben and I have always enjoyed home projects, and have missed having them since we left our first home. (Yes, we move a lot. Trying to change that.) Anyway, it has to be completely renovated before it is livable since we have a 7 month old! The goal is to be in by Christmas! Meanwhile, we are still waiting on our current house to sell. Here's a few pictures of the new(old) house!! More will come!
Audrey Grace is now 7 months old, and just amazing us everyday with all the new things she is learning! She says "mama", "dad-dad", and "yea." It's too cute! She is also completely mobile and crawls all over the place!! I had to move the dog bowls to higher grounds because I caught her with her hand in the water bowl just splashing away! She has been to the zoo and to visit her Aunt Katie at PC, and just does so well with everything! She has also started munching on small food that dissolves quickly like rice krispies! She is growing so fast I almost can't believe it!
We are all geared up for football season and getting ready for the first home game this Saturday. I'm excited for another season, but also struggling with it a little because Audrey Grace will be staying home with my parents. Of course I trust them completely and know they are great parents, I just miss her so much when I'm not with her! I'm so blessed to be able to stay home with her, so it makes it hard to be apart!
Anyway-I would say I'll update soon, but we've seen how that works, so I'll just say "see ya soon!"
